Re “Cornell Professor “Exhilarated” by Hamas’s Assault Defends Comment” (information article, Oct. 17)

To the Editor: 

I thank Professor Rickford for delivering his anti-Semitic screed with out recourse to the jargon utilized by many on the post-structuralist left. He doesn’t declare Hamas reimagined Eurocentric repertoires of rivalry or invited colonizers to have interaction in transversal grief. He has no want for obfuscation. He merely discovered a few bloodbath of Jews and located it “exhilarating.” He doesn’t masks his views as a result of he believes they’re acceptable for a professor at an elite tutorial establishment. Cornell’s administration will now tell us if he’s right.
